We love spiced rum in our Piņa Coladas. Coconut rum is another classic choice for an even better tropical vibe, but a classic white rum is always great!
If you have the time, freeze the pineapple chunks (or buy frozen) first. This will allow you to skip the ice and make your piņa colada extra creamy.
Ingredients:
4 oz.spiced rum
4 oz.coconut milk
1/3 c.fresh pineapple chunks, plus more for garnish
splash pineapple juice
1 c.ice
2 maraschino cherries
Directions:
Add rum, coconut milk, pineapple chunks, and juice to a blender with ice. Blend until smooth.
Pour into 2 glasses.
Garnish each glass with a pineapple chunk and a maraschino cherry.
